Offer: Free with Warsaw Pass

The Museum of Life under communism has nothing to do with classic chronologies, it’s only a backdrop for a variety of stories about old times a meeting place at same time. A typical “apartment” is full of period-specific items – “Rubin” TV or exhibition of vacuum cleaners that portray the Polish design evolution is only the beginning. While walking down the “street” we will feel the atmosphere. Leaving the cabinet of a Party full of propaganda, you standing face to face with cohorts of ZOMO troops, and the tension is cooled down by the lemonade from the old times.

Museum of Life under communism enables the younger generations to familiarize themselves with the Poland that their parents grew up in and allows the older visitors to reminisce on both the brighter and the sinister elements of their shared past.
